    BIOGRAPHY
    Born to a father who was a doctor specializing in urology and a mother who taught Russian language and literature, Kirill Serebrennikov first focused on physical sciences and obtained a diploma in this discipline in 1992.

    Passionate about theater and cinema, he began as a director in local establishments, while at the same time directing documentaries and television commercials.

    During his prolific theater career, Kirill directed numerous productions at the Anton Chekhov Art Theater, the Pushkin Theater, the Sovremennik Theater, the Oleg Tabakov Theater, the Latvian National Theater, the Deutsches Theater in Berlin and the Thalia Theater from Hamburg.

    He also distinguished himself as an opera director in many prestigious places (Mariinsky Theater, etc.).

    He also directed ballets at the Bolshoi Theater
