Nikolay Tsiskaridze is one of the most popular and richest Choreographer who was born on December 31, in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Tsiskaridze was born in Tbilisi, Soviet Georgia in  He began his ballet studies at Tbilisi Ballet School in and then enrolled in the Moscow Ballet School in in which he was studying under the direction by Pyotr Pestov. After his graduation in , Tsiskaridze immediately became a part of the company that was the Bolshoi Theatre, then under the direction of Yury Grigorovich.

He was elevated to the post of principal in the year Since since then, Tsiskaridze has performed internationally in a variety of ballet companies around the world as well as those of the Mariinsky Ballet and Paris Opera Ballet.
